Fishing and Family Boats

Legend is known for our fishing and family boats, or v-hulls. We pride ourselves on our innovative, industry-leading designs dedicated to helping you create a lifetime of memories on the water. 

Our hulls are built using 0.100 gauge aluminum throughout the entire boat. This consistency aids the overall structure of the boat in being more resistant to damage because we rely on smart design. What does this mean, exactly? Our boats are designed with a torsion beam energy transfer system (enjoy our video from Jan 14, 2009). This system acts as a shock absorber for your boat. Instead of the bow absorbing all of that energy leading to quicker wear and tear, it is absorbed throughout the entirety of the boat.  

Our fishing and family boats are constructed with 2 pieces rather than 4-pieces, which is what is commonly found. There are a reduced number of seams throughout the hull, providing you with a longer-lasting, more reliable boat. While the majority of our v-hull line-ups are hand-welded we also offer a riveted line-up indicated as the R-Series. In this series line-up, the rivets are installed horizontally. This ensures a stronger build.

Pontoon Boats

We design our pontoon boats with the best experience in mind (enjoy our explainer video from Jan 28, 2009). Between our innovative tube designs and layout options, we design our pontoons to last.

A common issue in competitor pontoons is that condensation would develop inside the tubes as one would use their boat throughout the season. So we innovated the unsinkable, easy-drain tube design for our pontoons. This design allows you to easily drain the condensation at the end of the season, ensuring water doesn’t leak into the tubes while you’re enjoying your time on the water. 

Deck Boats

The newest to the Legend lineup is our Vibe Series of deck boats. Our Vibes come in 19 and 20-foot options, with variations between the two layouts. The Vibe D20 offers something unlike other deck boats – a fishing layout! With two fishing seats at the bow and a livewell on board, this is something you wouldn’t expect to see in a deck boat. We know Canadians will always get that fishing itch, so this is our way of ensuring that the option to fish remains available.
