Fish Recipes: Maple Brandy Salmon

Salmon and Maple? Could there be a better pairing? Salmon is one of the healthiest sources of protein you can find full with all sorts of good fatty acids, and omega 3s, and it’s also tasty! Here is the recipe for classic dish with a canadian twist!


Ingredients:

  • 6-8 fillets of salmon
  • ½ Cup of Maple Syrup (100% Pure is the best)
  • Your favorite brandy to your taste
  • 1tsp of olive oil per fillet

Steps:

  1. Heat barbecue on medium/high.
  2. Cut one piece of aluminum foil for each filet.
  3. Rub oil on the outside of each fillet and set aside on the cut pieces of foil.
  4. In a bowl, mix together maple syrup and brandy.
  5. Brush mixture onto the filets.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste
  7. Barbecue the fits on the foil with the top open, creating a bowl with the foil.
  8. Cook for 15-20 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges and/or a drizzle of more syrup.

Recettes de poissons: Saumon au Brandy et à l’érable
Le saumon et l’érable? Peut-il y avoir un meilleur mélange ? Le saumon est l’une des sources les plus saines de protéines que vous pouvez trouver avec de bons acides gras,  d’oméga 3, et c’est tellement savoureux! Voici la recette de ce plat classique avec une petite touche canadienne!

Ingrédients:

  • 6-8 filets de saumon
  • ½ tasse de sirop d’érable (100% pur est le mieux)
  • Votre brandy préférée
  • 1 tsp d’huile d’olive par filet

Étapes:

  1. Faire chauffer le barbecue à feu moyen-fort
  2. Couper un morceau de papier d’aluminium pour chaque filet.
  3. Frotter l’huile sur l’extérieur de chaque filet et les poser sur l’aluminium.
  4. Dans un bol, mélanger le sirop d’érable et le brandy.
  5. Badigeonner les filets du mélange
  6. Assaisonnez avec du sel et du poivre selon votre goût
  7. Les poser ouverts sur le barbecue de façon à créer un bol avec l’aluminium
  8. Cuire pendant 15-20 minutes. Servir avec des rondelles de citron et / ou une larme en plus de sirop.
