In Canada, the fall signifies the end of summer, back to school, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and the impending wait for the dreaded winter. A lot of boat owners make the mistake of thinking that as soon as Summer is over and school starts, that it’s time to winterize their boat. Here at Legend Boats, we think the fall is one of the best times of the year, especially in Canada. Here are a few reasons why:

1. The lakes and waterways are less crowded.
2. Fall fishing is pretty fantastic. The less people out, the more fish there are for you.
3. Cooler weather makes us closer (cuddling to stay warm while speeding down the lake is a must).
4. Campfires just feel so much cozier.
5. The changing leaves!

That last one is probably the more important reason we love Fall. Not many countries get to experience this phenomenon of changing pigment, and it can completely transform your surroundings. Many people travel from all over the world to see the changing of the leaves and we are lucky enough to get to see it for free! So let’s take advantage of it.
